Hello,

I am Gina Wei, an author and illustrator, currently living in Nebraska with my husband and daughter.

My two greatest loves have always been books and drawing throughout my life. I started my career as a book editor and later transitioned to focusing on illustration. 

I create illustrations for books, magazines, and exhibitions, and also work on my own picture books. I feel fortunate that my profession allows me to combine my greatest passions. Along the way, I have gradually learned almost every part of the picture-book-making process.

My recent work includes The Lion Dancer and Little Fables of Love, as well as Li Mu and the Dragon, which I worked on as art director and publisher. Three more projects are taking shape. I also run my own publishing imprint, Studio Pezzettino, and hope to work with other publishers in the future.
